Book of Anthologies

A research-led project exploring memory, attachment, and the emotional significance of transitional objects.

Developed during Veronica’s postgraduate studies, this work brings together illustrated narratives based on adults’ lived experiences of meaningful objects from childhood. The project considers how memory, nostalgia, and emotional attachment shape the relationships individuals form with objects, and how these experiences continue to resonate into adulthood.

Through visual storytelling and illustration, the work translates personal accounts into shared imagery, evoking recognition and emotional connection in the viewer.

This project forms an early foundation for Veronica’s ongoing practice, which continues to explore themes of memory, inner experience, and the role of sensory and creative processes in emotional expression.
